Alexandra is a young woman, 22 years old, who lives in the city of Barranquilla in the department of Atlántico. She lives with her spouse and her two children, a one-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl. Her business activity is the selling of clothing and footwear for ladies and gentlemen, which she sells to friends, relatives, neighbors and fellow students, who buy from her on credit. Her spouse also helps her by selling in casinos. She started the business two years ago by means of her mother-in-law who lives in the neighboring country of Venezuela. She sends her the clothing and footwear that are in fashion, satisfying the tastes of her customers. Every day from Monday to Sunday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., she is working, offering and charging, which are the tasks of her business.

This is her first Kiva loan from Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, which she will apply to the purchase of polo shirts, t-shirts, jeans and sports shoes for ladies and gentlemen. She has as her goal to expand her selection to make her business grow and also, in the not-too-distant future, to have her own house.

Alexandra es una joven de veintidós (22) años de edad, que reside en la ciudad de Barranquilla, departamento del Atlántico; vive con su conyugue y dos hijos, un niño de un (1) año, y una (1) niña de tres (3) años. Su actividad de negocio es la comercialización de ropa y calzado para damas y caballeros, los cuales los vende a amigos, familiares, vecinos, compañeros de estudio; quienes le compran a crédito. Su conyugue también le ayuda vendiéndole en casinos. El negocio lo inició desde hace dos (2) años, por intermedio de la suegra, que reside en el vecino país de Venezuela; ella le envía la ropa y el calzado que esté a la moda, satisfaciendo los gustos de su clientela. Todos los días de lunes a domingo, de 8 a.m. a 6 p.m., está trabajando en función de su negocio, ofreciendo y cobrando. Este es su primer credikiva con la Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, el cual lo aplicará en la compra de camisueter, camisetas, jeans, y calzado deportivo para damas y caballeros. Tiene como meta ampliar su surtido para hacer crecer el negocio, y además, en futuro no muy lejano tener su casa propia.
