John, a 36 year-old father of two from Embu, has a business as a mixed crop farmer. He is married to Monica who helps him in farming. He also operates a public service vehicle, a business which supplements his income. He earns a monthly income of KES 28,000 which he uses to support his family.
This marks his second loan term with KADET. With the loan he has applied from KADET, he will be able to purchase animal feed and expand the animals shed. Additional income created will allow him improve the standard of living for his family. In the future, John would like to build a permanent store to keep his cereals and other grains.
He hopes to save money to educate his children to the university level.
