Agustinus desires to go to school - so he hopes - but, due to the condition of his poor parents, Agustinus has concerns. Agustinus lives in the Aru Islands, specifically in the town of Dobo, Ambon, Maluku. Both his parents work as farmers. Their income is erratic and only enough for everyday living expenses. So far, Agustinus has helped his parents. He is the third of three siblings. Agustinus is currently one of the students who will be studying at the Academy of Maritime Nusantara. He chose the Commerce program, Harbour Management and Administration, because, with his ability and his ideals, he can work in the office of the National Transportation Agency. Because he does not want to burden his parents, Agustinus applied for a loan to Kiva to cover the cost of his studies.

Agustinus is very grateful to the lenders who will help him with his studies, although not known to him.
