Merlinda is a 34-year-old married woman from Talibon, Bohol. She has three children, ages 13, 8 and 4, respectively. She engages in fishing. She sells fish and crab to earn a living. She has been into fishing for more than five years.
Merlinda requested a loan of 18,000 PHP (Philippines pesos) to buy materials used in fishing like fishing net and crab net to improve her catch and to increase her income.
Merlinda would like to improve her fishing business to be able to provide her family with good food and a quality education.
