Wisdel is the coordinator of his group Christophiens. He is married and has two children. He lives in northern Haiti, where electricity is rare and potable water is very limited. He has been running his business selling sandals for the last ten years.

Before starting this business, he used to be a student. He hopes that this loan will help him to expand his business. Other members of the group Chrisophiens have need of a loan for businesses such as selling cosmetic products, soft drinks, etc. He says that his main challenge is to become a bigger merchant.

He says his main goal is to have a bigger business facilitating the construction of a bigger house with loans from Esperanza Int.

Wisdel est le coordonateur de son groupe Christophiens. Il est mariée et elle a deux enfants. Il habite dans la region nord est d`Haïti ou de électricité est rare et de Léau portable est très limité. Il dirige son commerce de vente de sandales pendants les 10 derniers années.

Avant de ce commercer ce commerce Il était une étudiant. Il espère que cet emprunt l’aidera à grandir son commerce. Des autres membres de Chrisophiens ont besoin d’un emprunt pour le commerce telque ventes produits cosmétiques boissons gazeuses etc. Il dit que son défit principal est de devenir une plus grande commerçante.

Il dit son but principal c’est d’avoir un plus grande commerce qui lui facilitera à construire une plus grande maison avec prêt de Esperanza Int.

This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services. 

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
