Le groupement YEMALIN FEMI 5 est composé de seize personnes qui résident dans le même quartier. La représentante de ce groupement, du nom de Florentine est celle ayant une main levée sur la photo. Dans le but de rehausser le niveau de leur activité afin de mieux faire face à la demande de leur clientèle, ce groupement sollicite pour une troisième fois l'appui financier de ALIDé. Florentine est âgée de 29 ans et est mariée à un certain Florentin. Le couple a deux enfants, dont un est scolarisé et tous à leur charge. Florentine et son mari vivent ensemble avec leurs enfants et assurent ensemble les diverses charges de la famille. Pour contribuer aux divers besoins de sa famille, Florentine vend depuis neuf ans, des pâtes alimentaires et des sacs de blé vides de façon ambulante et dans un marché du Bénin. Florentine s'approvisionne dans un marché du Bénin. Dans le but de renforcer leur activité et de mieux satisfaire leur clientèle, Florentine et les autres membres du groupement YEMALIN FEMI 5 sollicitent un troisième crédit auprès de ALIDé. Leur ambition est d’accroître le niveau de leur activité. Les deux prêts antérieurs ont été bien remboursés.

Alidé is a Beninese NGO that works to reduce poverty by offering sustainable access to productive loans like this one in addition to savings, training sessions, and social work to low-income families.

Supporters of this loan should be aware that there is some risk of being repaid late. Because the Beninois Ministry of Finance has imposed restrictions on the amount of money Alidé can send to Kiva, the organization can only send monthly repayments in installments smaller than $13,000.
