Sountongnooma De Virginie Group
Virginie has been selling juices ("bissap" - made from hibiscus flowers, "zoom koom" - made from millet and zinzimbre, etc.) for the past six years. She gets her supplies at Paglayiiri market and inn Koukin Yaar. Her customers are students, neighbors and friends.
She would like to buy a sack of sugar, five dishes of millet, five dishes of bissap and three dishes of monkey bread.
Virginie would like to save a small part of her profits for her own needs and use the rest to boost her business. Her ambition is to expand her business and if possible open a shop to sell "pagnes" (highly decorative fabrics) and also to ensure a better education for her children.

Mme veut épargner un peu ses bénéfices pour ses besoins et renforcer son activité avec le reste. Elle ambitionne agrandir son commerce et voir si possible ouvrir une boutique pour vendre des pagnes et mieux scolariser ses enfants.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
