Tiessiri (Le Courage) Group
This group of women trade in a variety of products such as clothing, restauration and others. In order to expand their businesses, the members decided to join Soro Yiriwaso's loan program and are on their fourth group loan.
Tata, who is standing third from the right on the photo, is planning to use her loan to buy chickens, mutton and beef to make up into meals and sell. She gets her food from the Grand Market and sells on a retail basis and for cash from her home, which lies opposite the market, to a diverse customer base.
Tata expects to make 180,000FCFA during the season. As well as repaying their loans, the women use part of their income to cover personal expenses and expand their businesses.

Pour augmenter la taille de leurs activités, les membres ont décidé d’intégrer le programme crédit de Soro Yiriwaso. Elles sont à leur quatrième prêt de groupe.
Tata, 3 eme de la droite vers la gauche, compte utiliser son prêt pour acheter des poulets, de la viande de mouton et de bœuf pour les préparer et vendre. Elle se procure de ces aliments au grand marché. Elle vend en détail et au comptant à la maison qui fait d’ailleurs face au marché à une clientèle diverse.
Mme Tata compte réaliser 180 000FCFA au cours de cycle.
En plus du remboursement des prêts, elles utilisent une partie du revenu pour faire face aux dépenses personnel et augmenter son fond de commerce.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
