Morine lives in Kampala, Uganda, and is single with three children. All her children go to school. She takes care of other additional family members.
She sells second hand clothes at the market on a retail basis. She has been in business for the last 7 years and she works seven days a week. She has no other source of income.
She has requested from MCDT – SACCO a loan of 500,000 UGX to buy a bale of used clothes. Her major challenge is seasonality and transportation. She lives in a rented house and her family has access to piped water and electricity. Her goal and aspiration is to educate her children to the university level. Her major monthly expenses include school fees and food.
