Michael is a farmer in Kangundo town where he plants beans, potatoes, tomatoes, and maize. He is 41 years old, married, and has three children. He has been in this business for the last four years.
This being his first loan term, he plans to use the loan amount to buy farm inputs such as fertilizer and seeds for planting. He will also buy a water pump for pumping water in his farm. He hopes to expand his business by planting more cash crops, hence making more income, and being able to cater to the needs of his family.
