The client lives with his grandmother in his own house. He has had a food stand in his home for the last 2 years and with the profits he makes from his sales he is able to cover his household expenses. He is very hard-working, honest and responsible. He has the satisfaction of having regular customers since he is situated in a very busy place.

The client wishes to expand his food stand by buying tables and chairs as well as raw ingredients such as rice, chicken, meat, beans, fruit and vegetables etc. so he can vary his menu and have a bit more income. However he doesn't have enough income to make this investment, which is why he approached INTEGRAL to ask for a loan to be able to buy these items and so obtain better profits. This way he and his grandmother can have better economic stability.

El cliente vive con su abuela en casa propia, él tiene un puesto de comida en su lugar de residencia desde hace 2 años con las ganancias que obtiene de sus ventas logra solventar los gastos de su hogar. En un hombre muy trabajador, honrado y responsable. Cuenta con la satisfacción de tener clientela fija ya que está ubicado en un lugar muy transitado. El cliente desea ampliar su puesto es decir comprar mesas, sillas, mas materia prima arroz, pollos, carne, frijoles, fruta, verduras, etc. para variar su menú y tener un poco de mas entrada económicamente, pero no cuenta con los suficientes ingresos para esta inversión, es por eso que se acercó a INTEGRAL para solicitar un crédito y poder comprar lo dicho y asi obtener mejores ganancias para tener una mejor estabilidad económica con su abuela.

This loan is part of a pilot project Apoyo Integral is launching in conjunction with several local NGOs to support at-risk youth and their families with funding from Kiva. This loan product is tailored to young people who find themselves in high-risk situations because they are located in areas affected by extreme violence. Loans are combined with vocational, technical, and financial training to help these young people develop business ideas that will help them generate income, reintegrate into society, and support their dreams of being productive and contributing members of society.   

Due to potential safety risks facing these youth, some of the loans are being disbursed to their parents in order to protect their identities. For the same reason, the faces of some Apoyo Integral borrowers may be blurred in photos. Apoyo Integral appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to provide much-needed support to at-risk Salvadoran youth.
