He is a hardworking and friendly person. He explains that he plants corn a few meters from his house. He chose this type of business because his parents taught it to him.

Francisco es el representante del Grupo de Agricultores Chuisajcab 1 (de camisa verde el primero del lado izquierdo de la fotografía) es un hombre soltero de 54 años de edad, vive junto a su hija en el Caserío Chuicascab, Aldea Tzucubal Nahualá.
El es un hombre trabajador y amable, comenta que el se dedica a la siembra de maíz a unos metro de su vivienda, eligió este tipo de actividad porque sus padres le enseñaron esta labor.
Ahora gracias al esfuerzo de su trabajo puede alimentar a su familia y lo puede comercializar en el mercado local. A través de lo que realiza obtiene ingresos y ganancias buenas que lo ayudan a contribuir con la economía familiar.
Los demás integrantes del grupo utilizaran una parte de este crédito para la siembra de maíz, con el propósito de mejorar las condiciones de vida de sus familias. El préstamo será utilizado para la compra de abono orgánico para el cultivo de maíz.
Su sueño es generar más ganancias para poder construir su vivienda y así darle una mejor calidad de vida a su familia.

ADICLA (Association for the Holistic Development of the Basin of Lake Atitlán) is nonprofit rural community development association that provides small loans and services to improve quality of life in two of the poorest regions of Guatemala, home to large indigenous populations. Kiva funding will be used to support three innovative credit initiatives: youth business loans, green loans, and smaller loans to help ADICLA move down-market and serve poorer clients.
