Thuy grows rice and breeds pigs to earn a living. She earns about 4,000,000 VND per month. She has done this job for 30 years. Her family’s total earnings are about 9,000,000 VND per month. Her challenge in life and work is lack of knowledge of breeding technology, therefore her pigs get diseases easily. Her dream is having a spacious house. This loan is one of the steps that helps her reach this dream. She can expand her breeding farm to gain earnings and save profit for her dream.
Thuy is a hardworking woman. She has participated in SEDA's microfinance program since 2009. In the last loan cycle, she borrowed 9,632,000 VND and repaid on time. In this new loan cycle, she would like to borrow 10,080,000 VND to buy pigs to breed to expand her breeding farm.
