The ten members of the group "BENKADI I" are married women, who average 36 years of age and four children each. The women live for the most part in polygamous families in Kantola, a village in Commune de Guégnaka, Préfecture de Dioïla, in Région de Koulikoro (2nd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). The women are collaborating with the microfinance institution Soro Yiriwaso with the goal of better organizing their work at the start of the rainy season. And they are on their fourth collaboration with the institution. The crops grown are peanuts, millet, and sesame.

With this loan, Ramatou, who is sitting in the middle of her row, intends to purchase farm inputs and tools and to cover the cost of plowing to maintain 1 hectare of millet and peanuts.

After the harvest, the produce is sold in Fana City to men and women customers. She hopes to make a profit of about 95,000 francs CFA per planting.

Les dix membres du BENKADI I sont des femmes mariées avec une moyenne d’âge de 36 ans et ont en moyenne 4 enfants. Elles vivent la plupart dans des familles polygames à Kantola un des villages de la commune de Guégnaka, préfecture de Dioïla, région de Koulikoro, 2ème région administrative du mali.
Elles collaborent avec l’institution de micro finance Soro Yiriwaso dans le but de pouvoir mieux organiser leurs activités en début d’hivernage. Les spéculations cultivées sont culture de l’arachide, du mil et du sésame. Elles sont à leur quatrième collaboration avec l’institution.
Avec ce prêt, Ramatou la personne au milieu dans le rang des assises, compte acheter les intrants, les petits équipements et payer les frais de labour pour entretenir environs 1 ha de mil et d’arachide
Les productions sont vendues au niveau de la ville de Fana, après les récoltes à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle espère réaliser un bénéfice de 95 000F CFA environs par campagne.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
