Griselda Del Carmen
Griselda operates a business selling used American clothing and is requesting this loan to buy more clothes to sell. She started a business selling gold six years ago. Over time, the business grew and has generated good income, so she wanted more capital to continue negotiating and investing more because she used the income that this generated for basic items for her family.

A friend told her that FAPE helps women micro-entrepreneurs to advance in their businesses and she joined one of FAPE's trust banks, called Alpha and Omega, through which she received a loan that she says helped her a lot. A year ago she opened her American clothing store, which has helped her a lot and sales are good. Right now she has the opportunity to buy very high quality American clothing in bulk, but doesn't currently have the money for it so that is why she is requesting this loan. Griselda is 31 years old and was born in Jocotan Chiquimula, but actually lives in Villa Nueva, near the capital city of Guatemala.
