Jidah is a 27-year-old married woman with 2 children and resides in Hoima, Uganda. For two years she has been running a general merchandise shop which she started with 300,000 UGX but now has capital of two million UGX. She also operates as a vendor in the markets to supplement her income. By working hard she has been able to educate her children with her proceeds. She has a dream of educating her children and building a permanent home for her family. Inadequate capital and price fluctuations are the biggest challenges she faces. Jidah is requesting a loan to add stock such as sugar, salt, soap and biscuits to sell.
