Yussuf is a married man; he lives in a rental house that has electricity but not piped water. His greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
Yussuf operates a charcoal business, selling from home to his neighbours and passersby. He faces stiff competition from other charcoal operators in his business.
With the Kshs 50,000 he wants to purchase sacks of charcoal for resale. He decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost his business.
