Jorge Luis
Jorge is a 29-year-old single man. He lives with his 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls in Colonia Chuatraz in zone 2 of the Barrio el Calvario Sololá in Sololá. He makes a living in agriculture, cultivating lettuce near his home. He learned this work with his father when he was little. He has been doing this kind of activity for 8 years now since this type of crop maintains its price on the market and he has better earnings with which he covers all of the family expenses.

In this fashion he sees the need to invest in order to improve his revenue and profit and therefore he is requesting a loan of 5,500.00 quetzales (GTQ) to buy small lettuce plants and organic fertilizer to then cultivate the plants.

Among his dreams is to build a greenhouse for his crop by means of the profit that he obtains from what he is doing.
