Esther lives in New Kru town. She is 35 years old, married, and has seven children between 5 and 15, who are in school and live at home. For the past ten years, she has been operating a table business where she sells charcoal and rice in the local market. She says sometimes buying goes slowly. Esther says she started this business by selling around in the communities with the small quantity of goods she could afford. She learned this way of selling from her friends. She is applying for a loan to buy more goods (charcoal and rice) for her business. Her plan is to increase her business even more. She thanks the supporters of BRAC Liberia.
