Charmant
Charmant lives in Aquin, and has 4 children. He currently works as a fisherman leader in his community but also owns a fishing accessories store. He is now interested in launching a business as a clean energy entrepreneur to integrate these products into his existing business. He will be the first EarthSpark entrepreneur in the area so he will be able to expand access to clean energy products to many people.

With a Kiva loan, Charmant will be set up with a “Business in a Bag”, a kit containing a personalized mix of small-scale clean energy products, marketing materials and training on energy literacy, SMS tracking of sales, and basic business skills to launch his business. For his first inventory he will purchase solar desk lamps and charcoal-efficient cookstoves.
