Greetings from Sierra Leone! This is 35-year-old Sama from Port Loko. She is married with three children between the ages of 9 years and 18 years. Her children are currently going to school. Her husband’s income is not enough to support the home.
Sama runs general stock items at her house; she sells soap, milk, pure water, soda, and biscuits. She has been running this business since 2006. She works at the business throughout the week from morning to night. Sama says that her business is going well because she started with a small amount through BRAC.
Sama has requested a loan in order to buy more soap, milk, pure water, and drinks. The extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children.
In the future, she plans to open a big shop. She thanks you for your support!
