Mex is 59 years old. She is widowed and resides with three children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been cultivating cassava for more than ten years, earning approximately $15 daily. In addition, she is a tailor. Her children are employed. They earn about $28 per day.
In order to improve her business, Mex is requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase cloth to make more clothes to sell. Additionally, a part of this money will be used to buy pesticide to use in her cassava cultivation. This money will help her expand her shop and earn more income for the family. In the future, Mex would like to expand her farming business to generate more income for the family.
