Yoeum is 48 years old. She is married and resides with one chid in the Siem Reap province of Cambodia. She has been employed as a farm worker who earns an income of $3 daily. Her husband (who joins her in the picture) is a Khmer traditional musician. He earns about $7 each day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Yoeum is requesting a loan of $400 to purchase traditional music instruments for her husband to play. In the future, she would like to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
