Jocelyn, of Alindahaw, Tukuran Zamboanga del Sur, is 41 years old, married and has seven children. To make a living, her husband goes fishing and she buys and sells fish, selling it in the market in town. She has been doing this for more than five years and she gains enough for the family needs. In order to acquire a new set of fishing nets, she borrowed 10,000 PHP from GDMPC microcredit, which she had joined in 2009. She hopes to gain additional income to save a portion of it and it will help her to send her children to school.
