Edwin Ciro
Edwin, 19, lives in the city of Ica. He’s a very charismatic young man above all with a strong wish to get ahead. Day to day Edwin works as a laborer on a large agricultural estate; he works about ten hours daily and is able to support his family and cover household expenses with the fruits of his labor. Edwin believes he’s doing well because he puts in much effort and above all because he’s very responsible.

Edwin’s very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the support they’ve provided he will be able to buy a gas stove for his home because he currently cooks with kerosene and the smoke it produces is very toxic and because of it he’s had some accidents. In this way Edwin will be able to contribute towards his family’s well-being and continue striving daily to make his greatest dream reality: to have a university career and to be able to continue supporting his family.
