Today he lives in a rented mud house with his family. His daughters help him with the household chores; one works in the city as a housekeeper, the younger one studies in school, she has a 30 minute walk to arrive at her destination. Previously he worked making hammocks which he then sold in the city. Today he works farming (planting beans and corn) to support his family.
In order to buy the items to plant basic grains in the nearest city, it takes him 20 minutes to get to the highway to then take a bus or a car that travels throughout the area. The bus takes 30 minutes to arrive to the city.
The loan that he seeks with Fundación Campo is to buy 8 sacks of fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide for his corn, beans and millet. With the investment, he hopes to get a better result as far as crop production as he has a lot of experience. In the future he plans to buy land where he can build his own house and fight every day to help his daughter with her basic education.

Él antes trabajaba tejiendo hamacas que luego las iban a vender a la ciudad, hoy en día trabaja en la agricultura (siembra de maíz, frijoles y maicillo) para el sustento de la familia.
Para comprar los insumos para las siembras de granos básicos en la ciudad mas cercana, que le queda a 20 minutos para salir a la carretera a tomar el autobús o sino en algún carro que circule por la zona, en autobús le toma cerca de 30 minutos para llegar.
