Sandra es una mujer de 35 años que se dedica a lo que son los oficios domésticos en su casa de habitación y también apoya a su esposo en lo que es el mantenimiento de su cultivo de café. Juntos en familia se dirigen a su cultivo de café para seguir mejorándolo y ampliándolo ya que de esa forma ellos podrán darles a sus 2 hijos los cuales el mayor está en el colegio en 2 años y el menor en la escuela y ayudan a sus padres en las diferentes actividades al salir de las actividades escolares. Sandra tiene un grado de educación primario no completado cursado hasta el 4 grado pero no pudo continuar por la falta de apoyo económico por parte de sus padres. La tierra que trabaja es propia gracias a una herencia que sus padres le dejaron para que ella pudiese tener un respaldo y poder trabajar para generar ingresos para su familia y hogar.

Sandra ha solicitado un financiamiento a la cooperativa COMIXMUL para la compra de abonos, fertilizantes entre otros que ayudaran a que sus cultivos se mantengan sanos y seguros para la cosecha.

Sus sueños con los de ver a sus hijos graduados y con un nivel de profesionalismo superior, así como los de ampliar más sus cultivos para generar mayores ingresos y poder cumplir sus sueños.

Loan terms will vary depending on need, and borrowers can choose to make a "bullet" payment timed with harvest profits. Agricultural loans are considered risky in Honduras due to external forces like unpredictable weather and worldwide crop prices. As a result, many traditional financial institutions are unwilling to offer these loans.
