Dieudonne is the "Flamme de Dilaire" group coordinator. She is married and has 4 children. Dieudonne lives in the northern region of Haïti, where electricity is rare and the supply of drinkable water very limited. She has been running her business selling shoes (sandals) and accessories for more than a decade. Before becoming a businesswoman, she was a seamstress and student at the same time. Dieudonne will use the loan she receives from you to buy sandals for resale. She hopes that this loan will help her to expand her business.

The other members of the "Flamme de Dilaire" group need loans for their various businesses selling cosmetics, fizzy drinks, shoes, clothing etc. Dieudonne states that her main challenge is to become a great tradeswoman and that her main aim is to own a big business which will enable her to build a large house with the help of Esperanza Int.

Dieudonne habite dans la région nord est d`Haïti ou de électricité est rare et de l’eau portable est très limitee. Elle dirige son commerce de vente de chaussures (sandales) et d'accessoires pendant plus d'une dizaine d' annee.

Avant de se commercer elle était une couturiere et ecoliere a la fois. Dieudonné va investir votre prêt lors de l'achat des sandales pour la revente. Elle espère que cet emprunt l’aidera a grandir son commerce.

Des autres membres du groupe Flamme de Dilaire ont besoin d’un emprunt pour le commerce que ventes cosmétiques, boissons gazeuses, chaussures, vetement, etc. Dieudonne déclare que son défit principal est de devenir une grande commerçante et dit son but principal c’est d’avoir un grand commerce qui lui facilitera a construire une grande maison avec l’aide d’Esperanza Int.

This loan is designed for a borrower or group of borrowers in Haiti. Esperanza is one of the few MFIs currently working in the northeast region of the country. Through lending, the organization aims to stimulate economic growth and opportunity in a country that has suffered debilitating crises, including political instability, natural disasters and poverty. Esperanza lends primarily to groups of women who cross-guarantee each other's loans. They also receive financial literacy courses and health services.

The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
