Tenneh is 49 years old and lives in Compound #3. She has six children. The children are between the ages of 30 and 15 years. Only three of them are in school and live at home.
For the past fourteen years, Tenneh has been running a market table, where she sells hardware like door locks, door catches, hinges, and nails. One problem she faces is the complaining of customers that prices of goods are getting higher every day. She says she makes a lot of profit. She started this business with help from her mother, and learned this way of selling from her.
Tenneh is requesting a loan to buy more inventory for her business, including door locks, door catches, hinges, and nails. Her plans are to build a house and to buy a car. She wants to thank the Kiva lenders in advance, for their help.
