Mariam lives in Marmarashen village, in the region of Shirak. She is married and has an 11-year-old daughter, who is in the photo with her. Mariam doesn't work, apart from taking care of her daughter, but in order to tackle financial hardships, Mariam is engaged in agriculture. The family's livestock includes 4 cows and 50 chickens. They also own a plot of agricultural land, where wheat and potatoes are cultivated. Mariam's mother-in-law, who lives with them, helps her a lot with the agricultural work. She gives good advice on how to breed cattle and cultivate seeds.
Now, in order to enlarge her farm, Mariam is asking for a loan from SEF International. With the loan's help she will purchase two oxen, seeds and fertilizer. This will enable her to cultivate more types of fruits and vegetables and earn more income. Mariam waits for your support!
