Hellen is 45 years old, married, and supports a family of six people. She runs a cereals business in the Kapsaos trading centre in Nandi County, and she is served by KADET LTD. The Kapsabet office and this have been her income generating business for the last five years, and she earns an average monthly income of KES 19,000.
She has borrowed a loan of KES 60,000, and she intends to pay college fees for her children with this loan. She anticipates generating profits that she will use to expand her business by increasing more cereals like sorghum, rice, and others to meet her clients' demand.
Hellen hopes to improve her living standards and be financially stable; she also hopes to save money to enable her to pay school fees for her children as well as expand her business.
