Gerald is a rice grower. He has a 1.5 hectare rice field and he has been cultivating his land for two years. Aside from farming, he is also engaged in a hog-raising business where he raises 20 piglets. Gerald is married and his wife owns and manages a vending business selling variety of agricultural supplies.
The couple works hard to support the education of their two children and to save for their family's future. Gerald would like to improve his rice field by proper application of farm supplies to his rice crop. For him to achieve his goals, he is now requesting a loan of PHP 30,000 which will be used to buy fertilizers and insecticides and pay laborers who help him during the planting period.
Gerald hopes and prays that his requested loan will be granted so he can further secure his family future.
