Ana Gloria
Ana is 50 years old, married and has two children. She has been farming since she was a young girl. At the age of 12 her dad would take her along with him when he went out to farm. She says that he told her "it will help you when you have your own family". Now that she does have her own family, it is indeed helping her. Her farming has allowed her to help her husband. In addition to this work, Ana also owns a small store which she is working hard to stock because the farm work is becoming very tiring. For this reason, her dream is to have a well-established store. Ana gets up very early, at 5.00am, to prepare her husband's breakfast as she has never liked him to go out without his morning coffee.

Ana sometimes buys the materials that she needs for her farm work in the city. To catch the bus to the city she has to first walk for 30 minutes. If she doesn't catch a motorcycle taxi it is a long journey.

Ana is requesting this loan from Fundación Campo to buy a bag of seed, two gallons of herbicides, 11 sacks of fertilizer and two liters of pesticides. Through this investment, she will buy the supplies she needs for her crops as winter has already begun and her corn fields need fertilizing.

Ana would like to expand her small store as the farm work is becoming very tiring as she grows older. She would also like to see her youngest daughter graduate.
