Elfy lives in the town of Manco Kapac with her spouse. They live in a rented house that belongs to a relative. They work as farmers in Elfy's mother in law's land. They also rent plots of land from neighbors to grow seasonal products. They have the desire to get ahead in life and grow financially so they can provide better life conditions for a baby that is on the way.
Elfy and her spouse grow yucca and are very dedicated to this activity. They harvest 400 quintals (1 quintal = 100 pounds) of yucca, which they then sell to intermediaries. In addition to this, they work in plots of land belonging to their aunt and uncle or acquaintances, helping them weed their fields. From this activity they earn an additional daily wage.
Elfy is asking for this loan to purchase a plot of land because their savings are not enough. This loan will allow them to achieve their goal and have their own land to cultivate.
