Aisha's story

Aisha is married and she is also a mother. She has been blessed with three school-going children. Aisha and her family live in Kongowea, Kenya. For the last four years, she has been operating a retail shop. She sells commodities such as maize flour, wheat flour, exercise books, and soft drinks. Aisha, who is thirty-five years old, learnt of Milango from a friend and decided to join. She now seeks a loan to buy a sack of rice, bundles of maize flour and a sack of sugar. She is also employed and earns a small salary. She has employed someone to run the shop on her behalf. The only challenge that Aisha faces is bad debts. The loan will improve the standard of living of her family.
