Dorris is 34 years old and lives in the West Point area, which has the most populated market in Montserrado County. She is single, and she was unable to go to school. She describes herself as a hardworking woman.
For the past six years she has been selling oil, onions, eggs, and other foods, from a table in the local market. She sells six days in a week, from 8AM to 6PM. She enjoys her business, because of the flow of her customers. She started this business with money given to her by mother. She uses a shared taxi most of the time, to get her goods to her sales table.
Dorris is requesting a loan to purchase oil, onions, eggs, and other foods to resell at her table. Her plan is to build a house for her children. She would like to say, "thanks," to the lenders who support BRAC Liberia.
