He learned this from his father who was always a farmer and thanks to him, today he knows a lot about the farming activities required to harvest corn. Also with the help of his wife and children, he creates clay dolls, which he has done for 35 years.

The agricultural supplies he needs to harvest basic grains include fertilizers, herbicides package, and fungicides. He needs the items for planting. He buys the items in municipality. This takes him 15 minutes by car from the community where he lives. Also, he gets the materials for the making clay dolls from different communities of the department where the clay is removed. This sometimes hinders the process due to the distance he covers to transfer the material. However he always gets an abundance to complete the process.

The loan he is requesting from Field Foundation will be used to buy 4 pounds of manure, 1 bag of corn seeds, and fungicides for pest control. The other part will be used to obtain raw material for the production of clay dolls. Also he will purchase already developed products by other artisans because demand is high.

With the support provided to the customer, he will be able to purchase the fertilizer needed to proceed with the cultivation of 7,000 square meters of corn, which he established to generate a surplus of corn to sell. Also he will strengthen the business making clay dolls. The client and his family have three stores, one in Ilobasco that is 15 minutes from his house, one in the city of San Vicente that is 1 hour, and Sensuntepeque that is 30 minutes from his house. This allows him to better supply the demand with the three locations of sales.

With this loan, the customer will have the opportunity to grow basic grains that would ensure food of your household. Also, with the loan he can buy more raw materials to produce a greater quantity of clay dolls to supply the various stores. This way he can generate more income for his family.
