Naume is 47 years old and is married with six children. Out the six children, four attend school. Naume and her husband are farmers growing mainly matooke (bananas), sugarcane and maize on a smaller scale for both home and commercial purposes. Currently Naume's husband is sick and she is in charge of looking after the family including paying school fees.
Naume has now approached Ugafode for a loan of UGX 1,500,000 so that she can pay school fees for their daughter who is in a nursing school, and the other children in primary school. Naume is unable to raise this money at once but can afford paying back in smaller installments. Her dream is to have her daughter complete her studies and maybe in the future she can support the family.
Naume is a hardworking person who is only constrained by the weather conditions affecting agriculture, as well as the price fluctuation for agricultural products on the market.
