Mariatu
Meet 35-year-old Mariatu from Tombo western rural in Sierra Leone. She is married and has 3 children between the ages of 3 year and 18 years. All three of her children are currently attending school. In 2010, Mariatu established her home product business. She began her business because she wanted to get a source of income to support the home. She works at the business 10 hours per day, 7 days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is that some times the purchasing power of the customer is very slow.

Mariatu requires a loan in order to buy cups, food containers, and plates for resale. She hopes that the extra income from this loan will allow her to educate her children and improve her standard of living. In the future, Mariatu plans to open a big shop. She thanks you for your support
