Vanny, 61 and a widowed mother of five children, is resident from Sa Ang district of Kandal province. To struggle for daily food consumption she manages a vegetable garden, green mustard, and cucumber planting. For ages with this business she has been able to earn up to 37,200 KHR per day.
Vanny is new to VisionFund (Kiva’s partner). She is now taking a loan of 2,000,000 KHR in order to buy a good seeds to support her business. She hopes that she can make triple the income to sustain her living.
