Phally, a 36-year-old mother of one, is a crop grower from Tbaung Khmum district of Kampong Cham. Her one hectare growing a rice crop and half hectare growing cassava are the main income source of her family, to tackle their financial burden. During her spare time, she works for others for a fee for extra income. Phally is in her third cycle with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner), and has repaid her past loan with success. It has enabled her to relieve the difficulty in her family at a good pace. Now, she is seeking a new loan in order to buy fertilizer for her farmland and grow more cassava. She believes that she can make more income from her crop husbandry to better her lifestyle.
