Jaafar is a 51-year-old Lebanese married man living with his wife and three children, two of whom who are still attending school. He has owned a small shop since 1995 where he sells food provisions. Jaafar is hardly able to earn enough income to pay the heavy life expenses, especially his children’s educational fees. That’s why he borrowing a loan from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l. With this loan, he will increase his inventory of food in order to increase his sales and therefore his income. Jaafar is eager to satisfy his family’s needs, and in the future he plans to further expand his business.
