Otuma is 35 years old, married to Leperon, and has been blessed with five children that he supports. For the last six years, he has been a wheat farmer in the Naitupaki area, getting a monthly income of KES 40,000.
With a third loan of KES 40,000 from Kenya Agency for Development of Enterprise and Technology (KADET), Otuma intends to acquire farm inputs for better yields. He will also be able to hire a tractor to plow his land.
Otuma plans to use the anticipated profits to increase his farm acreage. His future dream is to have a sustainable business.
