Margaret is married with two children, one in school. She also takes care of her father. She sells used shoes and has been in this business for six years. She has applied for a loan of 400000 Uganda shillings from MCDTSACCO to buy more bales of used shoes. Margaret works at the market seven days a week and sells on retail basis only. Her major business challenges include transportation, thieves and seasonality. She is aspiring to become a wholesaler and also to buy a plot of land to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent, school fees and electricity.
