Gayane
Gayane is from Akhtala village in the Syuniq region. She has been involved in agriculture for many years and currently her farm includes chickens and pigs. Gayane's husband and elder son now are working abroad and are financially supporting their family. Gayane and her little son Narek (in the photo) are running a farm and work hard to gather a high income. Unfortunately, because of the hard economic times, it is very difficult for them to sustain their living, and the income from agriculture is hardly enough to cover daily costs.

Gayane has applied for this loan to purchase a pig and forage for feeding it. She plans to fatten it, and then, after some months, sell at a higher price.

The loan is very important for Gayane to be able to gather more income and for her husband and son to be able come back, stay with their family and work in their motherland.
