Oliver is married with six children and all her children go to school. She has a business selling charcoal and has been in this business for five years. She has applied for a loan of 1,200,000 Uganda shillings from MCDT-SACCO to buy more bags of charcoal. She generates additional income through selling local gin.
Oliver works from home and sells to all categories of people on a retail basis, six days out of every week. Her major business challenges include thieves and seasonality. She is aspiring of becoming a wholesaler and also educating her children up to university. She resides in her own house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and paying utility bills.
