A certified care giver with almost two years of experience as an official childcare provider under her belt, Brittany recently went into business operating from her home.
The dedicated sole employee for her business, Brittany began her entrepreneur venture with no financial assistance from family or friends, social media, online ad servers such as Craigslist, or other online assistance. She began only with what she could afford and word of mouth.
The mother of three, Brittany will begin her business July 1, 2013, thanks to a $5,450 loan from Accion Texas Inc. Without the loan, Brittany wouldn’t have been able to begin her life as an entrepreneur.
Brittany knows there are multiple childcare places in Phenix City, Alabama, and understands she is responsible for the success or failure of her business, but she says the difference between her business and those of her competitors is her unique and substantial customer service offered at competitive prices.
