Salla is married and a mother of a family. She helps her husband take care of the household and contributes to the everyday expenses.

Salla wants to expand and diversify her business and she relies on financing from UIMCEC [to help her do this].

Le GIE Takku Liggey Abattoirs regroupe cinq femmes qui s’activent dans le commerce de divers. La présidente, la dame Salla âgée de la cinquantaine, évolue dans la vente de poissons séchés et fumés, activité qu’elle a démarrée depuis maintenant 5 ans avec ses propres moyens. Elle a démarré avec une très petite somme provenant d’une épargne personnelle.
Salla est mariée et mère de famille ; elle participe à la dépense quotidienne et appuie son mari dans les charges de la maison.
Elle désir agrandir son activité et la diversifier et elle compte sur les financements que lui octroieras l’IMCEC.

This loan is administered by UIMCEC, a Kiva Field Partner in Senegal since 2008. UIMCEC is a government-regulated microfinance institution whose mission is to improve the revenue and well-being of families through access to financial services, allowing principally women and young adult micro-entrepreneurs living in rural and semi-rural areas to develop their revenue-generating businesses and supporting them in becoming financially self-sufficient.
