The women in the group grow tomatoes and corn. Djeneba is a member, and is pictured standing in the center of the photo. With her loan she plans to buy agricultural inputs, fertilizers, herbicides and seeds, as well as to pay for the labor expenses involved in farming her 0.5 hectares of land. After the harvest, she sells her produce in a village market in Sikasso and the surrounding areas, and her customers are both male and female.
Djeneba expects to make a profit of 40,000 francs CFA each season. These profits will allow her to make repayments on her loan, as well as to help her large family with their daily expenses, to give them access to better food, and to help with her children's health expenses.

La spéculation cultivée est la tomate et le maïs avec Djeneba debout au milieu sur la photo. Elle compte acheter avec son prêt, des intrants, l’engrais, herbicide, semences et payer les frais de labour pour entretenir 0,5 hectare.
La production est vendue au niveau du village, au marché de SIKASSO et environna après la récolte elle vend à une clientèle composée d’hommes et de femmes.
Elle compte réaliser un bénéfice de 40 000 francs CFA par campagne.
Ce bénéfice lui permettra de payer son prêt et aussi aider la grande famille dans les dépenses quotidiennes, à l’amelioration du regime alimentaire et subvenir au frais de santé de ses enfants.
