Mardia is 32 years old. She is married and has three children. Her children are between 8 and 14 years old. They all live at home in Montserrado County which is noted as the commercial city in Liberia. She is a college student, and her husband is a policeman. For seven years now she has been involved in the sales of fashion clothes such as blouses, t-shirts, and dresses. Most interestingly she has many customers since she sells quality products. She started her business selling roasted fish, and learned this way of selling from her friends. She spends six hours on her business. One of the problems she face is transportation costs. She is requesting a loan to purchase more fashion clothes (blouses, t-shirts, and dresses) to increase her sales. She plans to open another shop in the near future, and to see her children out of college.
